ProGlobal is working in conjunction with a "Big 4" firm in identifying talent for the growing Tax practice. An oportunity has arisen for an International Tax Manager within the Corporate Tax team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing corporation tax advisory and compliance services for a portfolio of clients. Your remit will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and leading the delivery of high-quality commercial tax advice.
- Advising on business structures, cross border expansions, financings and refinancings.
- Managing tax controversy, dispute resolution and other aspects of tax authority enquiries, including in cross border cases.
- Advising on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions from due diligence, acquisition structuring and post-acquisition business integration.
- Preparing your clients for new tax developments, including Pillar 2, and helping client teams to restructure and evolve to meet tax challenges of the future.
- Managing the delivery of corporate tax returns and advising on related planning opportunities.
- Managing and mentoring a high performing team.
You will require:
- Chartered Accountant status and/or member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax and an interest in international tax projects and developments.
- A minimum of four and a half years in a professional tax environment, in practice or in industry including some time at manager grade or equivalent.
