ProGlobal Consulting is working in tandem with a leading advisory and accounting firm in recruiting for an Audit Technical Manager. The firm is a "top 10" firm across Australia and provides a full range of audit, business advisory, corporate finance, tax, private clients, and wealth management solutions.
This new role (based in either Melbourne or Sydney), presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to contribute to the strategic direction and quality of the firm's audit work, in an internal facing position that supports the audit division with audit, risk quality and ethical standards. You will report to the Audit Technical Director and play a key role in enhancing audit quality within the Audit and Assurance team.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years auditing experience, ideally in audit quality.
- CA Qualified.
- Solid understanding of the auditing and ethical standards and a passion for audit quality.
- Open to learning new things, interested in current and developing technologies, and like to think constructively to solve problems.
- Experience in presenting and report writing.
- High levels of attention to detail with a focus on efficiency, compliance and process streamlining.
- Communication skills – demonstrate a strong ability to read, analyse, and communicate written and verbal information.
- Experience in training and audit software tools will be highly regarded.
