ProGlobal is working with a major Professional Services firm in recruiting for a Financial Accounting and Advisory Services Audit Manager. This role will suit an ambitious and motivated person and clients include some of the world’s largest multinational companies. This role can involve international audit work with an opportunity to travel. The FAAS team are a group of proactive accounting specialists who are focused on providing practical solutions to clients’ complex financial reporting issues.
Main responsibilities will include:
- take responsibility for a portfolio of FAAS clients involving project management of various assignments including preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting files for client to present to their auditors;
- assist the team including motivating them, allocating on the job tasks, job planning, training needs, staff issues, identification of resources required etc.;
- for the more technically demanding projects, there may be the need for on-site management and assist in the performance of complex sections;
- supervise and train junior members of the dedicated FAAS staff to ensure that firm standards are maintained throughout the entire project;
- manage portfolio, including work in progress, billing, cash collection and budgeting;
- review the work of seniors on assigned jobs.
