ProGlobal are supporting this well known firm in recruiting for a talented and inspired Insolvency Manager. This is a first class opportunity for someone keen to broaden their experience on an international platform. Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Hold a globally recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). JIEB or CPI would be an advantage;
- Have relevant post qualification experience gained in a Big 4, top 10 or boutique recovery/insolvency firm, handling insolvency and restructuring cases.
- Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years post qualification.
- Have experience in managing a portfolio of cases.
- Be able to demonstrate a broad range of corporate insolvency experience, ideally with some experience in the financial services sector.
- Be comfortable dealing with legal issues arising on cases and working closely with lawyers.
- Have the confidence and ability to apply core insolvency skills and experience in new and unfamiliar areas.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritise work and remain organised in order to meet challenging and competing deadlines.
- Display excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Have a proven ability to show resilience in the face of obstacles and be innovative in finding solutions to problems.
Appointments will involve dealing with challenging, diverse and will often be contentious in nature. It will not appeal to those candidates who seek a role based on traditional and/or routine procedural accounting or insolvency work.
