Senior Manager - Insolvency/Restructuring (Caribbean)

Job Details: ProGlobal is working with this 'Big 4' firm in recruiting for a management position within one of its key offices in the Caribbean region.
The role of Senior Manager within the Business Advisory Services team, reports to Partners and the Director within the Advisory Services department. A pivotal position in the Insolvency team, roles and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of projections for various scenarios of operation or closure
- Assessing risks and devising strategies
- Preparation of detailed reports for clients and stakeholders
- Dealing with creditors, tax authorities, employees and trade unions
- Monitoring and control of statutory and internal compliance procedures
- Analysing company history, checking facts and researching documents
- Managing litigation and external counsel
- Preparing plans for realisation and execution/management of the realisation process
- Managing, mentoring and training more junior insolvency professionals
- Supporting the Partners in identifying and exploring potential new business
- A professional Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CGA, ACA, CPA
- Certification in insolvency such as CPI, JIEB (highly preferable)
- Experience in recovery, collections and managing going concerns
- Knowledge of Laws relating to receiverships/administration/insolvency
- A strong analytical focus and excellent communication skills
- A proven ability to deal with challenging and dynamic situations
- A proactive, assertive attitude to delivering results for our clients
- Willingness to travel and support engagements throughout the region
