International secondments are typically offered to newly and recently qualified Accounting professionals and are becoming increasingly popular as individuals realise the benefits of gaining valuable international experience, whilst, at the same time, sampling and enjoying a whole new culture and lifestyle! A standard term is generally a two year minimum contract, though it is often possible to extend the contract, move to a new location, or potentially return to your home country, with the same firm. Our Accounting positions are predominantly in Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance, Insolvency, Restructuring and Forensics. International Relocation

Depending on your personal circumstance, a full relocation option may be a better option. As the term suggests, this is a longer term or permanent commitment. This may be better suited to more experienced professionals considering a “lifestyle change”, or for individuals who are maybe already on a secondment or perhaps taking some time out travelling, but are keen to return to their country of origin.
ProGlobal assists in relocating Accounting professionals to countries right across the globe! Whichever country you are relocating to, ProGlobal will have the network of contacts to help you make the move!
The Process
ProGlobal will meet with you, location permitting, or have a detailed conversation to ascertain your current circumstances, experience, motivations and aspirations and, at the same time, provide you with an insight into the types of locations and opportunities within which we are recruiting. We would then require an up-to-date CV from you (and can work with you in drafting this), and would agree an action plan in terms of how you would like us to represent you. This is typically an agreement on the specific firms and locations you would wish us to consider and approach on your behalf.
From there we will guide you through the entire process, from thorough briefings on Accountancy firms, Commerce or Financial Services organisations, to interview guidance, ongoing country research and ultimately, once you have secured the right role… actually making the move itself!
